Greenwich Village Little League offers Summer Baseball and Summer Softball starting Tuesday July 9 through Wednesday, August 14th. We know you may have other plans for the summer, so the program is set up to "play during the weeks you are around." **You do not need to have previously played in GVLL to participate**

Who can play? 
Summer Baseball is for boys and girls aged 5-12 and Summer Softball is for girls ages 5-14.

What does it cost?
All TBall : $100
Softball: $125 ($100 if you register by June 22)
Baseball: $150 ($125 if you register by June 22)

BASEBALL -- Summer T-Ball, league ages 5 to 6
T-Ball baseball and softball play together and meet once a week on Wednesdays from 5:45-7:00pm with a focus on playing ball and having some fun.  To register for this division in Summer 2024, your player must have been born between September 1, 2017, and August 31, 2019 (please refer to the LLoA baseball age chart here). The plan is to extend what was learned in Spring T-Ball with developing skills and understanding the game with parent volunteers and the P3 coaches. 

SOFTBALL -- Summer T-Ball, league ages 5 to 6
T-Ball softball and baseball play together and meet once a week on Wednesdays from 5:45-7:00pm at Pier 40 NE with a focus on playing ball and having some fun.  To register for this division in Summer 2024, your player must have been born between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2018 . (please refer to the LLoA softball age chart here). The plan is to extend what was learned in Spring T-Ball with developing skills and understanding the game with parent volunteers and the P3 coaches. 

BASEBALL -- Summer Jr. Minors/Minors, league ages 7 to 10
To register for this division in Summer 2024, your player must have been born between September 1, 2013 and August 31, 2017, (please refer to the LLoA age baseball chart here). This division will emphasize fun and skill development and include workouts with the P3 coaching staff.   Team assignments will be made based on player availability on game day. P3 coaches will pitch and catch to ensure games are instructional and productive. Opportunity to move from Minors to Majors will be by invitation only. Games will be played at Pier 40 NE on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm to 8pm or dark (whichever comes first).    

SOFTBALL -- Summer Majors & Minors, league ages 7 to 14
To register for this division in Summer 2024, your player must have been born between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2016 (please refer to the LLoA softball age chart here).

This division will emphasize fun and skill development and include workouts with the P3 coaching staff.  Team assignments will be made based on player availability on game day.  The first hour will be practice and then following will be a scrimmage/game.  Games will be played at Pier 40 NE on Tuesday  evenings from 5:30pm to 8pm or dark (whichever comes first).    

BASEBALL -- Summer Majors, league ages 9 to 12
To register for this division in Summer 2024, your player must have been born between September 1, 2011 and August 31, 2015  (please refer to the LLoA age baseball chart here). This division will offer a higher level of play than our Summer Minors division but will still be a fun and recreational division. Team assignments will be made based on player availability on game day and each night will consist of a friendly scrimmage (after a warm up). Games will be played at JJ Walker Field on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm to 8pm or dark (whichever comes first).
