Winter Training

GVLL Winter training with the P3 Baseball Staff begins Sunday December 2 for all registered Spring 2013 baseball and softball players aged 9 and up.

December and January is a great time to get focused attention from the P3 coaching staff. Hitting, fielding, pitching and catching exercises in December and January will improve our players’ game in time for February tryouts. In addition to players, we also encourage Spring 2013 coaches and managers to spend time at P3 to get a good view of this year’s crop of talent.

All practices are held indoors at the P3 facility down at Pier 40 and are available, free of charge to all registered 2013 players who are aged 9 and up.

If you wish to include friends in winter training, please have them register for the 2013 season.

Below please find the current schedule for December 2012 and January 2013.

December 2012 Sundays – 12/2, 12/9, 12/16

  •  10 am to 12 pm – 9 to 12 year old baseball
  • 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm – Softball
  • 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm – Juniors/Seniors

• Sunday, Jan. 6: 10 am – 1 pm batting cages, pitching/fielding instruction

• Sunday, Jan. 20: 10 am – 1 pm Official Pre-Tryouts
• Saturday, Jan. 26: 9 am – 12 pm Official Pre-Tryouts
• Sunday, Jan. 27: 10 am – 1 pm Official Pre-Tryouts
