2012 Tournament Team Season has Begun

Hello GVLLers,

Tournament baseball is upon us!  We encourage all of our GVLL community to come out and support our tournament teams. We have an unprecedented number of teams entering the different Little League of America tournaments.  The four age groups representing GVLL are:  the 9/10s headed up by John Murray and Bob Ciosek; the new newest age group consisting of 10/11s coached by Chad Stoller and Carlo Saldana; our 11/12s led by Roger Ehrenberg, Carlo Saldana and Greg Epstein; and, of course our seniors coached by Chris Bongirne and Chris Pappas.

The first round of games are listed below:

•  June 25 at Peter Stuyvesant West Field @ 5:30 pm where our 9/10s take on Felix Millan
•  June 26 at Peter Stuyvesant Field @ 5:30 pm — GVLL 11/12 vs. winner of Harlem/Kingsbridge (played 6/24 @ Harlem 2:30 PM)
•  July 7 at Peter Stuyvesant East Field @ 1:30 pm — GVLL 10/11s vs. Peter Stuyvesant
•  First game yet to be announced for Seniors
